Letting Go – Day 9

For the person coming for healing, letting go isn’t a choice as much as it’s just ‘what happens;’ it’s inevitable. As all of experience exists (or is interpreted) though the mind, if you consider for a moment that whenever you acquire new information, even, you’re essentially a different person than you were previously, you’ve – consciously or unconsciously – let go a little bit of the person you previously perceived yourself to be.

JG: How does letting go manifest in the healing process? Are people aware of tangible things or beliefs they’ve let go of?

BF: Sometimes, the case is that things to be let go of might be too difficult for the subject to deal with themselves. This might happen in a situation where an entity is attached to someone, for example. In such a case, you could say ‘as an extension of the patient,’ it’ll be exorcised or released ‘through’ the practitioner. This can be easy, or it can be difficult, depending on how aware the healer is of their own capability. My belief is that, as our connection to the Divine would have it, we’re never presented with anything we’re not ready for or ‘need’ to have happen, for our soul’s growth.

Letting go can be a very intense experience for the client/patient/subject. Again, it’s the case that they’re never presented with anything they aren’t ready to handle. That said, it can take many forms, depending on what would be most helpful. It might be expressed as anger, crying or laughter; some people might experience it as a significant energetic release.
