Living In Awareness – Day 2

It is human nature to defend our limitations; however, it does not serve me, you or anyone to live in our limitations. It does not serve the Divinity in which we were born. The only thing it serves is the continuation of the limitations, and being stuck in the same old, same old. Do not be afraid, and if fear arises in you, look that fear in the eyes, and say “Thank you! Without you, I would not be able to experience myself as a courageous being!” Stand tall in the truth that you are no longer held prisoner by your past. Stand tall in the truth that freedom is your birthright, and you are not going to let anything stand in the way of your heritage being expressed!

Experience Each Moment As A New Moment

It is very natural and normal for the human, conditioned, thinking mind to force the past onto the present moment. As this occurs, it is also normal and natural that you unconsciously look at your present moments through a lens called the past. This lens not only obscures this moment, but it also robs you of the beauty of the moment, the ability to truly answer the call of the moment, and to be all that you can be. Often, a person’s past haunts them in one way or another. Sometimes it is the memories of childhood traumas and/or abuse, and other times childhood conditionings have an unwanted effect on the present situation. Either way, the past keeps forcing itself onto the present situation. The past can be building blocks for building an amazing life, but often the past becomes our stumbling block as we move through life.
