Living in Awareness – Day 3
Let me repeat that last sentence.
In the game of life, there are no losers; everyone who PLAYS wins. You have to begin to play with life and life will play with you. I am very aware that this idea goes against much of what you have been taught. You have been taught through your school systems and your churches that life is very serious. You have been taught that there are people that win (the people that have), and then there are people that lose (the people that don’t have). You have been taught that there are people that will win (the people that will go to heaven) and then there are people that will lose (the people that will go to hell). Yes, you have been conditioned to take life very seriously, but I am going to ask you to drop the seriousness and begin to live life sincerely, authentically, and playfully. I also want you to begin to look at the ‘game board of life.’ I want you to see how the game of life was originally set up, or in other words, to have an understanding of the natural laws of the Universe, and then begin to play the game of life with a childlike innocence and freshness. I want you to play the game, and enjoy the Now that is in front of you, and I also want you to begin to create out of the sheer joy of creating, the sheer joy of watching, and participating as your ‘future’ unfolds. I want this for you, compared to the old way, where the mind throws out a thought about the future, a not very pleasant future, and you begin to use your creative energy to avoid or thwart something from happening.
