Once you have covered the whole body, you may want to start again at the top of your head, or simply scan the whole body, and if you find an area that is not relaxed, focus on relaxing that specific area.
After the whole body is relaxed, either move into a different meditation technique, such as Vipassana Meditation, or simply lie there, and enjoy the relaxation.
Remember, leisure time is part of the balance of life, and this is an optimal way to have leisure time in your waking hours. This technique is also very beneficial to help you fall asleep, or to have something to do when you have awakened during the middle of the night. It may be just the thing to help you fall back to sleep, or at least your body is getting rest, even though it is not sleeping.
