By Angela Levesque People have a variety of reasons for wanting to lose weight. Our popular culture wants to promote the quick fix or the ultimate diet. The truth is the reasons people have trouble losing weight is not about the perfect diet or exercise plan, it has much more to do with the mind and your relationships with food, exercise and most importantly, yourself. How many times have you tried to lose the weight using a specific plan, only to have success in the beginning and once the plan is over, you gain it all back? People say that weight loss is about a lifestyle change, and this is true, but in order for it to be a permanent change in lifestyle, it has to come from your heart. This requires you to explore your values and find meaning in your decisions. So it is important to know if you are really ready for change. You will only be successful in accomplishing what you are ready for.
