Our Energetic Investments

We make energetic investments in the food we choose, but beyond that we make investments of our own personal energy in our habits surrounding food.  Consider where you are putting your energy on a daily basis.  Remember that energy flows where your attention goes.  Imagine that every time we put our thoughts into something we are making an energetic investment with our thoughts and then with our actions.  We are making a deposit into the field of consciousness; now ask yourself are you getting a good return on your investment?

Yesterday, we asked the question what are you feeding?  You may find that the answer to those questions is intimately involved in the way you allocate your energy.  In fact, it is the other side of the same coin.  If you are stress eater, how much of you energy is being invested in thoughts of the past or the future?  If you are an emotional eater, how are you investing your energy into indulging your emotions?  In a perfect world, our energy would flow to where your intention goes.  Intention means you are making a conscious, loving choice to invest your energy into something that nourishes your whole body.  This is a good return on your investment.  Imagine now, that you set the intention to live a more purposeful life.  You then invest your energy, your thoughts and your actions into things that bring you towards that intention. The return on that investment will be high and rewarding.  It is coming back to you as love, the highest form of love – self love.
