Mind/Body Weight Loss – Day 12

Your Challenge:

This challenge is a two-fold process. Today or next time you have craving or a need to feed something other than your body, I want you to take a few moments and begin to focus in on your breath.  I want you to imagine cutting the energetic ties to that thought/craving.  Make a conscious choice not to invest your energy into that food/thought. Then imagine drawing in all the energetic ties you have put out during the day and bringing them into your heart center.  Then as all of your energy is back into your heart center, just spend a few breaths breathing in and out of your heart.

Then, I want you to pick a whole food, like some raw vegetables or a piece of fruit.  I want you to sit there with an expanded heart and give thanks for that food.  Then I want you to eat the food mindfully and with gratitude in your heart.  Contemplate the life force energy that is being passed to you by this whole, clean food.  Then pat yourself on the back for this amazing choice to nourish your body and your spirit.
