Making a Commitment
As we near the end of the 30 Days, it is time to get practical. I asked you near the beginning of the month, where are you out of balance? Hopefully over the course of the month, the answer to this question became clear to you. Remember weight loss is a symptom of imbalance and not an end game. You may have noticed that there are a few things creating imbalances in your life. Now it is time to take one of those things and take action. If you try to focus your efforts on making too many changes at once, the task will be too overwhelming. But as you make strides towards changing one thing, you will notice others shifting as well. You can then capitalize on this momentum and subsequent changes in behavior will soon follow. So whether it is eating healthier, moving more or getting better at managing your stress, pick one aspect of your behavior that you would like to focus on.
So with your focus in mind, answer the following questions:
1. List three of the biggest benefits you hope to receive from making some changes?
2. Think of 3 of the easiest ways you can change your behavior E.g. if you are focusing on eating healthier, you could decide to take a lunch instead of eating out or if you want to get more exercise, maybe it is going for a walk after dinner.
