Affirm Yourself!

by Veronica Lee

Affirmations can be powerful tools as you construct new thoughts and beliefs. They affirm, whether or not your mind currently agrees, what is already so. With repetition and willingness, you can release old patterns and fashion new ones allowing you create a greater life experience.

As you emerge from behind your existing screen – the tapestry created by misaligned stories and beliefs – it is important to find support and encouragement. Positive affirmations offer the provisions you need as a new structure takes shape. By weaving affirmations into your daily routine, you begin to recognize the powerful image of your True Self.

Affirmations can focus on anything in your life. By reflecting true and loving perspectives of you, their brilliance can help you see yourself more clearly. As well, affirmations can change your perceptions of others and the world. Interestingly enough, your perceptions of everything outside of you are merely a reflection of how you see yourself. Therefore, positive affirmations showing you an enlightened view of yourself and others broadens the picture.

In essence, once the truth of who you are is realized, that truth becomes the filter for experiencing the world.
