Recommit and Reconnect to Love Day 21
Proper health is important not only to you, but to your relationship. One of the best things you can do for the one you love is take better care of yourself. If you haven’t seen a doctor lately, make an appointment for a checkup. If you have a weight problem that compromises your health, begin eating healthier and change your eating habits. If all of the food in your pantry does not have an expiration date on it, it is time to clear out the garbage and replace it with real, whole food. Food that has color, like fresh fruits and vegetables. Perhaps your partner is the one with the weight issue, and you can help them by changing the types and quality of the food you eat. Replace fast food, or restaurant meals, with easy fix alternatives by investing in a crock pot.
If you need more exercise, find a way to get it. If you both need more exercise, take more walks together, ride bikes, or maybe join a gym if that is what you feel you have to do. If you smoke, quit. By taking care of yourself you are giving the one you love the gift of more time to spend with you. Perhaps when the next Renew Your Soul Challenge comes you can decide to do the Healthy Living challenge together. Doing a challenge like that with a partner, makes it easier, because it holds you accountable. Improve your health, improve your life and improve your relationship by taking the time to have a healthier lifestyle.
