Simple Steps to Improve Your Life- Day 10
Schedule a Date
When you think of hanging out with someone who you feel happy being with, who do you think of? Is it one person or several? When did you last spend time with him or her? Write them all down.
The Practice:
Schedule a date to get together with that someone to get together. If you wrote down more than one name, schedule time with each of them. Face time, either in person or remotely is preferable to voice only, however if that is what works, so be it.
P.S. Texting does not count as a date.
The Benefit:
Does it feel good to connect with the people you care about? Are you looking forward to the date(s) you set?
Being around people who lift your spirits enhance your well being. Truly connecting beyond short messages is a special way to make your heart happy.
