Simple Steps to Improve Your Life Day 15

Life Improvement:

Random Acts of Appreciation

We all appreciate being appreciated for what we do. Sit for a moment and remember how that feels. Today we are going to do something revolutionary. We are going to practice random acts of appreciation and it’s going to be fun!

The Practice:

Write three sticky notes with a phrase like You’re Amazing!, You Go!, or You are Appreciated! Come up with a phrase that works for you.

Then stop at a store sometime during the day and post these notes in random places like the restroom mirror, inside a magazine or on a product on a shelf.

When I did this practice, I went to an office supply store. I put one note on the restroom mirror, one on the inside cover of a notebook and one on a box of pens a few boxes back from the front.

The Benefit:

Random acts of appreciation contribute to the betterment of humanity by creating a supportive environment for all of us. They also help support positivity and a sense of magic.
