My Ideal Day We each have a picture in our mind’s eye of what a perfect day looks like.  Today we get to focus on our powerful imaginations on creating that day for ourselves.

 

Review your daily schedule right now. How much of it is how you really want to spend your time? 50%? More? Less? Write down what percentage of your schedule it to your liking.

 

Are you surprised at that number?

 

Would you like to change that number and bring it closer to 100%?

 

Here’s a place to start.

 

 

The Practice:

 

Allow at least 15 minutes for this practice.

 

Sit quietly for at least five minutes allowing yourself to imaging your ideal looks like. Start with where (and with whom) you wake up with and continue until you get back into bed to return to sleep.

 

See Also

Write this down as completely as possible. Do not edit things you think can’t ever happen. Write it all down, no matter how improbable your ideal day seems right now.

 

 

The Benefit:

You have now stated to yourself and the world, how you want your life to unfold.

 

You can take this vision and compare it to your current schedule. See how close the ideal and the current schedules match.

 

Next take one small step over these 30 days to shift your current schedule to reflect your ideal day. Make that small change an integrated part of your life. Then, next month, make another small change. When you review your ideal day and your current schedule in six months, they will be closer together than they were today.
