Simple Steps to Improve Your Life Day 30
Yay! We Did It!
Wow- what a month! I truly enjoyed doing the Challenge along with you. It has been an amazing journey into the fascinating world of our individual selves. Each time I do these practices, I learn more about myself. What I love about them is that they are simple. Simple yes, though not always easy.
The goal of our challenge was to improve our lives in 30 days. We learned to adjust and adapt our busy worlds to accommodate and nourish a number of aspects of ourselves, and became more empowered and enlightened whole beings. Coming from a solid foundation within ourselves, we are now more able to effectively and joyfully interact with others in our lives. We are truly able to be, as Gandhi said, the change in the world we want to see happen.
This month we accepted the right to take a proactive approach to our well-being- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. And we took time to put ourselves into our schedules.
We did practices that addressed all of our worlds including:
Physical- walking, drinking water, and dancing
Mental- learning a new word, three things to do before you die, and writing your accomplishments
Emotional- scheduling a date, the happiness list, and telling someone you care about them
Spiritual- blessing your food, prayer/meditation, and random acts of appreciation
