Simple Steps to Improve Your Life Day 5
Tell Them You Care
Today is the day to delve into your heart to connect with the some of those closest to you. It is a good idea to express your feelings often, since you never know which day will be our last.
The Practice:
Right where you are right now, put down whatever else you are doing; put your feet flat on the floor and put the index finger and middle finger of your right hand onto your heart area. Inhale and exhale. Now allow images of the people, animals and plants for which you care deeply rise into your awareness.
As each image or feeling comes up, feel the love you have for that individual and send your best wishes to them like a prayer.
When you have finished with all of them, write down their names so you make sure to remember each one.
Today, before you go to sleep, contact each individual on your list. If you get voice mail, leave a message or send an email or letter. If it is someone who is no longer living, you can write them a message. If it is a plant or an animal, commune with them directly however you usually do.
Notice how you feel after doing this practice. Write that down in your journal and please feel free to post on our blog.
