Simple Steps to Improve Your Life- Day 6
Take a Walk
No matter how much many of us have wonderful intentions that say otherwise, it can sometimes be difficult to exercise during our busy days. Things can just keep piling up on your desk or another phone call comes in just when it was time to take a break. Then, we look up from our projects, and zoom- the day is done and we are spent.
We have all heard over and over again how important exercise is to our health. Many of us have gym memberships that are seldom used. If this is the case, we often spend time feeling guilty about what we have not done, which is actually more detrimental than not doing it.
Here is a simple way to get exercise today and it only takes five minutes.
The hardest part of this practice is to walk out the door.
The Practice:
Walk 2 1/2 minutes in any direction, and then return to your starting place in the other 2 1/2 minutes.
The Benefit:
Taking this five minutes for yourself and your vitality each day can create a habit of increased health in your life.
