The ABC’s of Actively Being Conscious – Day 12

Immediately, I was back “in touch” with my authentic self, being present and conscious as I enjoyed writing about being conscious, i.e. practicing what I preach!

Considering being in the Now is so much about what you practice in the moment, it’s an instant “fix”!

Today:

If you want to live (more) consciously and joyfully (and something tells me you do):

1. Do your best, always (or rather, right now), to be in the present moment.

2. Do not be concerned with the fruit of your action. Allow it to come of its own accord.

3. Check in periodically and ask yourself: Is there joy, ease, and lightness in what I am doing? (The image in this post is a desktop backgrounds that works as a reminder to check in. You can download it and use it if you’d like.)

4. If not, see if you can adjust your “how”; perhaps by starting over again with step 1.

And speaking of joy, ease, and lightness, enjoy this one-minute hummingbird video. It’ll make you smile. (And notice how one of them is sitting on my finger. I was thrilled!) Don’t you think they represent joy and lightness?

Patti Foy is a natural catalyst and has been facilitating positive and transformational change for clients world-wide since 1997. She gets down-to-earth, practical results by working at the level of energy and consciousness, and blogs about it at her site Lightspirited Being so you can, too!
