The ABC’s of Actively Being Conscious – Day 22
If you practice response 3, then you might want to review the ABC I is for Intuit. At least begin to experiment with the idea that your intuitive faculty just might be cognizant of more than your rational side.
Same goes for number 1. If you’ve been following along up until now, you’re well on your way. The ABC A is for Awareness covers much of that, as do most of the ABC’s up until now. It’s all about opening up to be consciously aware, and we covered several ways you can do that.
But if you practice response 2, this topic is custom made for you.
The Importance of Trust
One of the most — if not the most — important practices you can begin to nurture is that of trusting what you get. It’s the number one stumbling block for people who want to be intuitive and think they’re not.
You might notice that you are getting impressions, and maybe a lot of them, but you decide it’s “just your imagination”. Well, that’s one of the primary ways our intuition talks to us, using our imagination!
Don’t dismiss it!
Likewise, a certain thought may come to you, and you figure “Oh, that’s just my rational mind.” And maybe it is. But sometimes, that too is your intuition. Especially if you’ve “requested” (at some level) information, and especially if that thought is a non sequitur, or just pops in out of the blue. Pay attention!
Ideas and inspirations often get dismissed as well, either because you don’t relate it to intuition, or you don’t see a direct connection between the idea and something applicable. But this is another common way our intuitive impressions vie for our attention.
