The ABC’s of Actively Being Conscious – Day 22

Sometimes you’ll “get” something completely unexpected, and it might seem outright nutty. Oddly, these are sometimes the most relevant and accurate impressions. They may need a little finessing in order to make sense of them (sort of like interpreting a dream) — or not — but do pay attention to these as well.

Today:

  1. Consider something you would like guidance on. Choose something that is meaningful but not of utmost importance.
  2. Deliberately ask your intuition to give you some guidance.
  3. Open your awareness and pay attention today. Pay attention to any and all impressions. This includes “normal” things that catch your attention (e.g. T.V. commercials, something you read, etc.)
  4. Trust what you get, and make a note of it.
  5. See if it can apply to your topic. Know that even if it doesn’t make sense in the context of your topic, it’s still very likely intuition. Sometimes there’s “something else” our intuition wants us to know! If you’ve made a note of it, what that message means may become clear over time.

The main idea here is to trust what you get. It’s the most overlooked practice in being intuitive, and once you start practicing it, you’re well on your way to surprising even yourself with your natural guidance system.

Which of the typical scenarios do you usually practice? Are you able to trust what you get? (Yes, it’s kind of hard in the beginning!) Let us know how it went!
