The ABC’s of Actively Being Conscious – Day 6
3. Now as you finish exhaling, immediately drop one more level by moving your attention from your head down to your heart area.
Do you feel the difference? Feel how still and quiet it is? Then you’re “there”.
Gently hold your attention there awhile. There’s no need to try to get a sense of anything. In fact, it’s best to simply notice the stillness for awhile.
If you can’t tell a difference from your normal state of awareness, then repeat the steps again very slowly. Pay close attention to the subtle goings on “inside”.
Notice that even though you took certain steps, when you’re accessing this state, you’re not actually doing anything.
You’re being.
It’s that simple state of being that we’re after.
