My intuition is that the planetary experience I had was a premonition, a precognitive flash of a genuine possibility. It is also by far the most positive contribution to a gentler shift to the next stage of evolution than anything else alone could do.
When we see situations like 9/11 or the Boston bombings, for a lot of us it’s hard to keep up the positivity. When we see events like this, should we be seeing them as catalysts that might move us towards that ideal vision that you saw?
I think it can [be a catalyst] if we have an evolutionary perspective. If you look at billions of years of evolution, you see that problems are evolutionary drivers. Many species were near extinction and they didn’t know it. But new species arose that were more capable of cooperating with the environment and with each other. So what I see happening everywhere from people like ourselves, is the desire for peace, for sustainability, for connectivity, for the new news not the old news. But what hasn’t yet happened is a method of coordinating that which is emergent, creative and positive. That’s the missing link right now. It’s not that we’re not here, it’s that we’re not connected.
What are steps that we can start doing right now, today, that will start us getting coordinated and connected?
Well, right now it’s to know it’s possible. The second thing would be to start checking in to some places where this story is being told. For example, if you go to the Shift Network, on December 21st and 22nd we celebrated the announcement of the birth of a new era of evolution. Hundreds of thousands of people were involved. And if you go to the archives you’ll see stories about this. You can go to Global Oneness Day and you can see stories about this. You can go to many other sites connecting the good and all of these things.
