A World Without Words

Did it ever occur to you that the intention of the Universe, of God, of our Creator(s), was to have humanity function as if language was never developed?
Words have power only in the advent of the thoughts that lead to them. Imagine your life for a moment, completely void of language communication. Humans were given access to six senses. Taste, touch, sound, sight, intuition and smell. One would argue that vocal cords, as part of the human body, were intended to aid in our existence and progress here on earth. However, what if we are using them incorrectly? What if the vocal cords were intended to be used as a vehicle of communication only through song and sound, not language?
In a world without language we would communicate in much different ways. What if we did not have words to “identify” things? There would be no explanations, no opinions, no books, no computers. We would exist in a bubble of experiences that would be used to regulate continuity, fear, safety, love. Our perception of things would be limited to what we experience first hand. We would rely more on a connection with energy than with the beliefs of others. Organized religion as we know it would not exist. There would be a community of faith based on unified experience, not random teachings of “leaders” with answers to questions that we have not discovered ourselves.
What if our perception of the world was based solely on what we see, hear, taste, touch, feel and smell and not on what we are told to experience through third party regulations? How would you experience the world? What would be beautiful to you? How would you identify pain? Honor? Happiness? Would a rose be beautiful? Would an insect frighten you? Would you be pressured by time limitations that did not involve elements of mere survival? Would homosexuality even have a name, much less a controversial component? Would bigotry and prejudice exist based on the mere appearance of things rather than the “opinion” of their advocators? What would be taught to the young? How would romantic union be identified as separate from mere expressions of affection?
Try this:
Exercise your field of spiritual energy by meditating on this concept of a language free universe. PERCEIVE yourself, your surroundings, your emotions without the influence of your description or identification or explanation of them. Eliminate words from your daily ponderings occasionally and connect with a higher energy. Hear a favorite melody in your mind while breathing in light. I promise this experience will be new and wordlessly informative.
