Breaking the Food Addiction – Whose Fault Is It?

What if I told you that it’s NOT your fault that you have a food addiction?

What if you discovered that the food companies you trust, are purposely altering their food in ways that cause food addiction?

What if I also told you that junk foods, even some which are being passed off as health foods are as addictive as cocaine or nicotine, and are causing widespread compulsive eating?

Well, guess what, I am telling you that. This is not a misprint. You are reading what I am saying accurately. Foods with chemical additives are causing you to be addicted to eating.

Just like chemicals in drugs have addictive properties, so do chemicals used in food products.

Your body does not know exactly what to do with them, but it does metabolize the chemicals, which produce different effects on your body and mind, and then you literally become physically dependent on these chemicals to feel normal.

Scientific studies have proven that rats given these chemicals will binge on the chemicals when given the choice to do so. (They become obese too!) Not only that, the rats in the study would go to any lengths to get to that addictive substance.

So, now that you know that, what can you do?

As they say, when you know better, you do better! Now that you know that you have a food addiction to these processed foods, it is time to fix the problem.



The first step is to accept that you have a food addiction, a real addiction just like any other addict.

It’s not your fault that you cannot stick to small portions of these foods, any more than an alcoholic can have “just one glass of wine.”

Remember, these chemicals in processed foods are there on purpose, to intentionally addict you to them!

So, you must give them up. Like an addict, you must go cold turkey and take it one day at a time so that your body can detoxify itself.

You don’t have to go hungry, you simply must give up processed foods. Just replace any processed foods with unaltered, whole, natural organic food.

Read the labels, if they have a litany of chemicals put it down and move on to the next item. Today, you can get organic whole foods at Wal-Mart and Target, therefore there is no reason to put any sort of processed, chemically enhanced foods into your body, ever.

There are too many good choices you can make for yourself to keep doing it. Today is the day to make the change.
