Sunday Nights Bliss
Sunday Nights Bliss and Conscious Entertainment
By Dana Jacoviello
Sunday is a day for relaxation before heading back to work on Monday. What better way to spend a Sunday nights than escaping into the world of fantasy, revenge, and spells. Sunday nights television has an amazing lineup from 8 pm eastern to 11 pm eastern. If you are not a night owl, I suggest you DVR the programs as they are not to be missed.
Once Upon a Time is now in its third season along with Revenge.
The two shows make you forget that Monday you have to get up at the crack of dawn to start another work week; however, a brand new show on Sundays, which has caught my attention, is Witches of East End on Lifetime. I have fallen completely head over heels with these shows. In fact, I look forward to the end of the weekend. I can’t even believe I actually said that. The writing is impeccable, and the one liners are to die for. If you liked drama, fantasy, suspense, and comedy all rolled into one, each one of these shows provides that for you. It is nice to see shows that are different from the normal popular cop or medical dramas. In my personal opinion, it is refreshing. It is hard to find the right person for a role at times, but the casting in these shows was done by someone who knows what they are doing. I will admit that I am very picky when it comes to television and actually prefer a scripted show. Once Upon a Time is full of fun and adventure, playful, serious, and intense characters and story lines. If you like the world of fictional characters from your childhood such as Snow White, Prince Charming, Rumpelstiltskin, The Evil Queen, Robin Hood, Bell, and so many more, then this is the show for you. The list of possible characters is endless. I look forward to who I will see next and what will unfold each week.
