Testicular Cancer is a good cause, but is the video inappropriate?

Yeah … We also made this same face, but this video is in fact a campaign for the prevention of Testicular Cancer. Rhian Sugden, the Super model shows how men should do the self- test touch on testicles to identify a possible problem.  If the consistency is soft, everything ok, but if you find a tougher lump, see a doctor as soon as possible to identify what it comes. Please leave your comments below about what you think about the video.  Is it exploitation of a stereotype or a good way to get attention for the issue.  We want to know.  Despite of being shocked with the first sight, but then we understood the importance of a campaign and ended up admiring the genius of the creators of the campaign. Because it is a commercial that was designed to catch the attention of everyone straight away in a surprising amazing way (literally), we believe that it is a success. Keep an eye out for signs and symptoms of Testicular Cancer

One of the first signs of testicular cancer is often a lump or swelling in the testes. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends against routine screening for testicular cancer in asymptomatic adolescent and adults including routine testicular self-exams.[8] However, the American Cancer Society suggests that some men should examine their testicles monthly, especially if they have a family history of cancer, and the American Urological Association recommends monthly testicular self examinations for all young men.

Symptoms may also include one or more of the following:

1. a lump in one testis which may or may not be painful

2. sharp pain or a dull ache in the lower abdomen or scrotum

3. a feeling often described as “heaviness” in the scrotum

4. breast enlargement (gynecomastia) from hormonal effects of ß-hCG

5. low back pain (lumbago) tumor spread to the lymph nodes along the back

6. It is not very common for testicular cancer to spread to other organs, apart from the lungs. However, if it has, the following symptoms may be present:

7. shortness of breath (dyspnea), cough or coughing up blood (hemoptysis) from metastatic spread to the lungs

8. a lump in the neck due to metastases to the lymph nodes
