Tough Love with Kyle Keller
Omtimes: Did you ever see yourself doing a reality show such as Tough Love?
Kyle Keller: Yeah! I always wanted to kind of stay away from the reality world being a broadcaster and being in the entertainment industry I never really wanted to be on the show because I didn’t want it to hurt my career. I had told my parents, well I told my mom a few years back you know I’m single maybe I will try out for The Bachelor or The Bachelorette or whatever. My mom was like please don’t (laughs) because with editing you never know how they are going to make you look and you know you could be the villain without even realizing it.
So I always kind of stayed away from reality, but when the opportunity came to be to be a cast member on “Tough Love: Co-ed” I couldn’t really turn it down because I was single. I am 32, and I do want to get married and have a family and I did have dating issues.
The one thing about this show was that it is a feel good show. I mean of course there is going to be drama in any reality show because it is what keeps the viewers interested for the most part, but it really is a feel good show because Steve breaks down and he builds you back up. At the end of the day if you aren’t successful Steve is not doing his job.
It’s not drama fueled…you know it is more about us and how we re learning more about ourselves and becoming better at dating.
