Astrology Forecast for December 16-22, 2013
Saturday: Winter officially begins when the Sun enters Capricorn at 12:11 PM EST. Today’s somber, introspective air is with us for the whole season. Venus, the ruler of all that we hold dear, begins a six-week retrograde today. She begins that backward journey in the company of clarifying Pluto (by declination, not by degree). They’re putting an editor’s pencil to our short lists, making them even shorter and reframing what’s left in more focused, precise terms. The desires that survive this process will be fierce and unshakeable. They’re likely to meet walls and negatories today, alas.
Sunday: The predawn hours stir our psyches like a spoon in a glass of Kool-Aid. When the crystals dissolve and the stirring stops, we’re left with clear ideas, the ability to share them and the ability to hear what others are saying. The morning is designed for lounging, brunch and easing into easy tasks. The Moon is void of course (what that means) from 8:20 AM to 2:20 PM EST. When she emerges in Virgo, it’ll be easy (that word again) to tackle what needs to be done. Bask in your own glow while you’re at it. Your vision is uncommonly uncluttered tonight, even when you look in the mirror.
