Day 3. “Cardio Commitment” Make a commitment to yourself! Whether you are trying to lose weight or just sustain cardio health, this program will elevate your heart rate and keep it there. We will be moving in and out of the postures in steadily flowing movements for challenge and grace.
Day 4. “Hot Mess” While a cardio routine requires steady movement to keep the heart rate up, a strengthening routine does the opposite. In this sequence, we will hold the postures long enough for your muscles to experience the burn. That burning feeling is simply your muscles heating up; that is how we know they are getting stronger!
Day 5. “Disco Nap” is the rest that you deserve! The term “disco nap” simply refers to a short rest that allows the body to rejuvenate, so you can do all of what life calls you forth to do. Whether you are doing this program as a completion to the Resolution System or were just looking for a restorative program, you obviously needed a break. You deserve one! Taking a few quiet moments will either wind you down for a quiet evening, or recharge you for whatever is ahead. This program is a GaiamTV.com favorite!
Day 6 and 7. “Mix and Match Programs” Chose one or more of your favorite programs and put them together! Because we have a rest program built in with “Disco Nap,” you can practice yoga every day without needing a recovery day. With yoga, even just a little gentle stretching each day is recommended.
