Earth Medicine: A Revival of Sacred Cultures and Religions (Part 2)

By Nancy Oakes

Humanity has crossed over to a new era, a time when human beings are reuniting with their inner power, and breaking the chains from the old paradigms of patriarchal mind control. Coming out of the dark ages again into the light, we are discovering a new respect for the old ways of earth medicine, holistic medicine, and embracing the traditions and cultures of the ancients.

A REVIVAL OF THE GNOSTICS IN THE NEW ERA

The sacred documents of the Gnostics philosophy states that they believed that life (living) is a spiritual practice, not a dogmatic religion or other mind controlling system. Bringing health back into balance was a spiritual practice. Therefore, based on the mindset of the ancient indigenous medicine, they taught that the disconnection of the soul in one form or another causes disease. Disease happens when humans are living an empty life, which is living without meaning or with meaning that is too trivial or too materialistic for the needs of a sacred soul. Each soul was sacred and always connected directly to the spirit realm, without judgment from a one patriarchal god.

Early recordings suggest the Gnostics were for over half a millennium, “the approach to religion for thoughtful minds”, very much influenced by Tantric-style meditation. They also believed as in the ultimate aim of Tantric yoga was to enter the primal realm of Silence, a feminine enfolding the original Creative Word, the Logos, the Goddess Sige (Silence) who dwelt at the beginning of all things, giving birth to Sophia, (Wisdom, or knowledge, the Gnostics Great Mother) both spouse and mother of God. This of course got the attention of the early church authorities, and finally drove the Gnostics, and Mary Magdalene into hiding.

Today humanity has a renewed interest in learning the ancient knowledge, an enlightenment, is ushering in the sacredness of all life on earth, clarifying the reason for the connection between what the ancients practiced and nature. This reasoning has been lost to humanity, thus producing a disastrous upset of flesh eating humans without regard for the sacredness of life. The clarification also eliminates the misinformed theory that man is superior to other life forms. All life, those covered by skin, fur, and feathers were created to live in harmony, Oneness.

2014 A Time of Balance and Renewal

“A Mothers Love”

Many medicine people, shamans, and elders of the ancient cultures understood the prophecies predicting the new era, “The Fifth World.” A great phenomenon is in progress globally, aligning computer technology, the Internet, with the deliverance of the ancient messages of Oneness. Many opportunities to study and learn from the medicine people are available for the first time. The renewed Gnostic teachings uncovered in 1949 with the Dead Sea Scrolls, Sacred Lakota, Hopi, and the Dalai Lama, just to name a few, are teaching the people how to reconnect to nature and the spirit realms. The elders are not saying come be Lakota, or Hopi, or Tibetan, or even Gnostic. They are reaching out to all people to reconnect to the truths of the true creation story, the truth of the arrival of the first people from the stars, and awakening to your own sacred inner power. Be who you are! You can only find yourself when you reconnect to your purpose, and live in the acknowledgement of the higher power of Love, and the Great Mother.

The message came just as planned, when human beings hearts were opening for the truth and becoming aware. The ancients are sharing with humanity at this time the secrets of our Great Mother’s medicine. She holds within her womb cures for the human body’s aging and disease processes. The ancients knew about the secrets of the plants and have guarded those purposes for future generations. You!

PLANTS YOU CAN USE AS MEDICINE

Aloe Vera

Cleopatra applied the gel to her body as part of her beauty regimen, the ancient Greeks used it to cure baldness and insomnia and the Native Americans called the blessed plant the “Wand of Heaven.

It doesn’t hurt that aloe vera produces at least six natural antiseptics, which are able to kill mold, bacteria, funguses, and viruses. In fact, the plant is so powerful that researchers and scientists are looking into its potential as an AIDS and cancer-fighter. The ancients have known this for centuries. Many indigenous cultures eat the plant for relief from digestive problems, and upset stomach issues. Do not consume the plant without guidance from a holistic practitioner, or medicine person.
