The ever controversial John McAfee has always been at the forefront of technology while keeping his eye on what it means to be human. His latest endeavors focus on bringing the indigenous wisdom of healing with native plants into the modern era, so that we have a better chance at holding on to our humanity.
John McAfee is best known as the founder of McAfee Associates, a computer antivirus company. In February 2010, he started a new venture in the field of bacterial quorum sensing with, QuorumEx, which was working towards producing all natural antibiotics. As of January 2013 McAfee has been living in the United States working on several media projects including an autobiography and a feature film entitled, Running in the Background.
