Jill Mangino: Can you share any stories of how something the guides shared, whether in a private or group reading, was actually confirmed?
Paul Selig: My work as a channel and as a psychic are a bit different – I go back and forth between the two skills when I work. When my guides bring someone forward in a group, or when someone comes to me for a session, I’ll often tune-in them psychically in order to help them to move through a particular issue.
I’m a physical and emotional empath. For example, if someone is having a problem with a spouse, I’ll tune into the energy field of the spouse and begin to physically resemble him or her. I’ll take on her expression and demeanor as I begin to “hear” for the person I’m reading. It’s pretty remarkable, and I can’t say I understand how it works. I do predictive work as well. I read for an older man a few years back.
He had come to me to find out about the adult child his late wife had given up for adoption. I told him that the child didn’t know he was adopted but would seek his birth family out to find out about their medical history.
The man e-mailed me a few weeks ago to tell me that his wife’s son had sought him out about a medical issue and, when asked how long he had known he was adopted, he said “three weeks.”
This kind of thing is pretty common, and I’m grateful when people send me the confirmation of the information they receive in their sessions.
