James Van Praagh: Spirit Talk
In regards to the collective who comes together for group events or classes, such as that one, James acknowledges, “When people come together as a group, and they come with the right intention or the common intention if you will, and that they all have that one intention in mind, then Spirit will indeed show itself and reveal itself.” He continues by saying, “As you know, I love teaching. I love to see the process because whatever comes up during those classes needs to come up. So whatever someone has been holding onto deep down within them, whether it is an emotional charge or something or some limitation; whatever it is, it comes right up. They have to face it. When you are in an environment of love from all of these other students who are also learning together; it is a safe environment, and it’s a wonderful environment.”
Continuing our conversation, James and I delved into the mediumship aspect. I invited him to clarify the difference between a psychic and a medium.
Shelly Wilson:What is a psychic?
James Van Praagh: Everybody is psychic from one degree or another. Everybody is born with intuition. Intuition means “into the soul,” so it is the language of the soul. We all have that. When we are born, we have to have instincts. We need this intuition that we have that we are born with that is more of the psychic [nature]. These are feelings about people when we first meet them, or go to an environment and feel something about the environment. That is your psychic ability and using your Solar plexus, your gut and going with that. Everybody has that.
