Candling and the Immune System
When a mother-to-be prepares herself for her pregnancy by taking care of what she eats and when she breastfeeds as long as possible afterwards, she gives her baby’s immune system an excellent start.
As we go through life it becomes even more important to eat and drink sensibly, to buy the best quality foods we can afford, to avoid overmedication and to choose toiletries with care. Natural soaps, shampoos, hair dyes, deodorants and body lotions are on sale everywhere; it is important to read labels and to purchase the gentlest products available. Some, although not all of these products will cost a little more, but it is only when we are in poor health that we realise what a priceless gift a healthy body is.
