Astrology Forecast for July 2014
By this point, you may not be sensing much of a brake pedal. Yet exactly that comes into awareness, not to mention play, when a heavy cosmic foot lifts up and releases it on July 20. Saturn, ruler of time and structure, ends his five and a half month retrograde and turns direct on that day. He’s not moving quickly — think ocean liner making a U-turn — but the water (and emotions) his movement churns will be noticeable. They teem with ramifications and consequences and thus encourage responsibility and commitment (and promise retribution for shortfalls). His turnaround is not all party-pooping by any means, though. He’s in an easy flow with Chiron as he pivots, helping deep-level healing to move along and settle in. We have the opportunity to lock into situations and alliances that could actually be healthy and beneficial.
The final shift may be as welcome as Mercury going direct. Mars the planet of action, is leaving Libra at last on July 25. He’s moving into Scorpio and resuming his usual schedule of zipping through a sign in a matter of weeks. The relationship lab that we’ve been in (that we’ve to large extent had our noses rubbed in) since mid December is shutting down. Watch for last-minute flurries and hurries as he makes his way out the door. We’ll have an exam and graduation exercise when Mars meets up with Saturn in late August. By then, our landscapes will be vastly different, inside and out, from what they were when July began.
