Oracle for June 2014 – Opening

The energies and directions for the month of June are evolving around Opening. Opening? Opening, what? Well, first it is about opening ourselves to the flow of energy, information, and guidance that supports us on the path this month of June; and, secondly, it is about allowing ourselves to be exposed and vulnerable. There is more and it all encompasses Opening…so, do read on.
This past month I had an experience with the concept of opening, although I did not know that was what it was about at the time. I was asked, and thought it would be interesting, to be an unknown subject for seven “psychics in training.” I had never even been to a psychic before and wasn’t even sure what to expect, but upon meditating whether to do it or not, my Spirit said “Go, there is information for you there.” And so I went. I had no idea what to do except I did want to be “open” so they could tell me things I may need to know. When the “teacher” asked them to check in with me to see if I was married, had children, how was my career, etc., in an effort to afford them every opportunity of “reading” the truth about me, I totally opened myself, energetically, to these strangers.
They all had interesting things to say that I felt did not relate to where I am now, so I was like “hmmmmm;” yet, as I explained my life to them based on what they were “reading,” I became amazed at the opinions and judgments that were put on me. The interesting thing is that I feel good about my life, I feel balanced in my life (that is something I work on all the time with the myriad of things I have going on) and I love who I am, where I am and what I am doing. In any event, the point here is that as psychics I felt they felt their job was to find something wrong and fix it, not provide me with information about me or what they saw. It was interesting to observe and to learn.
The reason I preface this Oracle on Opening with this personal story is to let you know that I was physically impacted by allowing myself to be so totally open to these seven people. Thank goodness for my good friends. They cleared this energy off of me, after which I felt much better and it gave me the ability to see and learn that my total “openness” to others is to be used very carefully. Then, when I tapped into the Oracle for what June energies were all about, it was all about Opening.
So, it is now, with a jaded eye, that I offer that the month of June is all about opening and to see what Spirit has to say about it after my personal experience, so here we go…
Now, as the Oracle always likes to do, let’s look at how this word is defined in the dictionary because while we think we know what openness is or have a feeling for the word, it is always good to see how it is really defined. As I have said so many times before, this is important first of all because misunderstanding words prevents the truth of the matter from coming into your consciousness and second of all, it is important because we truly are expanding these concepts as we move into the new landscape of the new reality.
So, openness, what does it mean? One dictionary defines openness as, “the free expression of one’s true feelings and opinions.” Another: “An undisguised or unconcealed state.” Wikipedia says that, “Openness is an overarching concept or philosophy that is characterized by an emphasis on transparency and free unrestricted access to knowledge and information as well as collaborative or cooperative management and decision making rather than a central authority. Openness can be said to be the opposite of secrecy.” I think with all these definitions we get a strong feeling about the direction the Oracle is pointing us this month: undisguised, transparent, free expression of our feelings and opinions.
“Opening” also equates to vulnerability. Those of us on the spiritual path more than likely learned long ago that being vulnerable is part of being authentic. We are vulnerable when we wear our hearts on our sleeves, so to speak, and do not let ourselves hide behind conventional societal mores or our personal conditioning about what and how much to reveal to others about how we are feeling, thinking or being. It is a balancing act, opening is!
It is certainly important to consider that we do not open up totally all the time to everyone because there are certain protections that are still necessary as there are folks not tuned to compassion, love, understanding or sympathy. There are those who are still separate from God and still have much to understand about the energies surrounding our human bodies. The concept of Oneness eludes a lot of folks, but the point for the month of June is to at least be more open than you may have ever been before. I am amazed how many people talk to me, say hello, good morning, etc., just because I am walking along being present, making eye contact without judgment on my face, just a smile. It could invite conversation, but it rarely does, but it does invite connection. This is one aspect of being open. Not walking along avoiding eye contact, looking down, or through people, in other words not being present. The perspective is openness.
This Oracle is here to let you know that with all the big changes coming in July as energies begin to move faster and stronger and more powerfully than ever, our spiritual practice for the month of June is, indeed, to open up! This opening is critical for the coming energies for the rest of this year of breakdown or breakthrough energies. Now, this opening is certainly a personal thing. What may be open to me may be scary open for you but that is not the point. Because this is, indeed, a personal practice this month, there is no standard set for openness. Sovereign beings mediate openness for themselves. For some it may be a crack in the protective armor we wear, others putting the foot in the water of testing openness, still others may fling the door wide open to see what happens. The point is it is time to stop the closure, the hidden, the disguised, and the secret stuff. It is time to step into opening to our beginning concepts of oneness, what it means to you, what it means for our society, what it means for our world, for our planet. It is the understanding that we are all indeed one energy expressing itself differently that we are opening to.
Our willingness to follow our Spirit’s directions in opening deeper places within ourselves, doing whatever is needed, whatever our inherent wisdom tells us, and whatever our hearts propel us to do. We are to do it from an open, unconcealed state and, as the Oracle has said before and will say again, do it all while being honest, truthful, congruent, authentic, transparent, compassionate.
This Oracle is here to encourage you, yet again and always, to step into your real true self, be wholly who you are! It is here to support the expansion of your Spirit. Know that Spirit supports you each and every step of the way. Always remember…love is all you need.
Let your mantra for the month of June be: I AM opening more and more to the Spirit of my inner reality and beginning to freely, lovingly, express that Spirit in my outer reality… And So It Is!!!
