Hi Michelle,
I just read your book “She talks with Angels”, an excellent book that I couldn’t put down! I have a question for you: towards the end of the book you wrote about these times of change and the global economic crisis. You mentioned that we will revert to some methods of bartering and trading. Does this mean in the future we won’t work at companies any longer? ~ Jack of all Trades in Trenton
Dear Jack,
Funny that you ask; I wrote She Talks with Angels in 1999 and published it in 2000. Everyone thought that I was crazy for talking about an impending financial crisis on a global scale – yet here we are on the brink. When I look out into the future, timing is tricky since it is so fluid and much depends on the mass consciousness. I perceive the most probable future although there is always more than one possible outcome. Our free-will enables us to create our future and change our future for the better.
Back to your question; yes we are coming away from man-made systems that no longer work for humanity. Have you noticed the “work from home trend”? You see, corporations were created to assist the workers, to give them fair wages and benefits. Now days most corporations are only concerned about the bottom line at the expense of their loyal employees. Many of these old styled companies are folding or downsizing and yet some new positive prototype businesses are being created. My motto; never put your eggs all in one basket. In these times of change it’s best to be diverse; develop skills that make you well rounded, services that help you to be more self-sufficient; skills that you can barter or sell for services that you need. Give it some thought, what are your talents: raising chickens for eggs, fixing small appliances, canning vegetables, writing a press release, baking wholesome bread? Just remember, God gifted each of us with multiple talents and you can use them to benefit yourself and your community.
