Oracle for November 2014 – Power

Power – The energies and directions for the month of November are evolving around power. Our power, our strength, our wisdom, our unbelievable stamina in the face of all the new things coming our way and that have come our way this year…this amazing year of breakthroughs and breakdowns. Do we have any idea of the power we contain? Do we have any idea of the power that WE ARE!!!
Well, now is the time to tap into it. This Oracle has some perceptions on how to do that.
This November brings in all the intricacies we have experienced this year. This year of 2014 is about to shut down and we get ready to move, yet again, into the new energies of yet another year on our path…so, do read on…
Power, like wisdom is one of those words that is bandied about by those who think they know what they are talking about. I think we are finding more and more of those these days as egos bloom bigger and bigger in the face of the changes happening on this planet, eh? No judgment, just sayin’.
Well, this Oracle is here to guide us this month of November into understanding and integrating more of the power that we are and know we are but may or may not have claimed for ourselves!
As you may know, the Oracle always likes to look at how a word is defined in the dictionary because it gives us a foundation to build an understanding of what our practices are for the month with more clarity than just thinking we know what the word means. It is always important not to go by words we don’t know the meaning of. That’s how we learn new words and build our vocabulary and understand what the heck is going on out there.
So, in our quest for a definition of power, we find that The Free Dictionary hits the nail on the head for our spiritual practice purposes for this month of November. Power is defined as “The ability or capacity to perform or act effectively.” It is also defined as “A specific capacity, faculty or aptitude” for instance, to use the “power of concentration.” It also represents strength, force, stamina. All of which we are, all of which we have, all of which we are learning to express.
When we think of these definitions in terms of Spiritual Powers it seems that the practices we have put our energy into this year of Breakdown or Breakthrough, as were given by the Oracle, truly reflect those aspects of “Spiritual Power” or in the true definition of power, the spiritual capacity, faculty, ability to act effectively. To be that spiritual lighthouse, that power.
But first, we have to feel how we get there…what brings us our spiritual power, our innate ability to have the capacity for understanding our very own Divine Essence, our very own Divine Connection – the source of all power, eh?
“Spiritual Power” which is what this Oracle is here to direct our attention to, may be defined as a faith in a higher power, a consciousness which offers peace, contentment, confidence, hope. Or it may be defined as certain aspects of practice such as, mindfulness, concentration, and effort. I think for our practice for November, for Oracle readers, it is the practice of the different facets of our power within our human experience.
The practices of this year of 2014 represent the different facets of our power and bring together opportunities to step into our own power this November. We have practiced energetic concepts to deepen and broaden who we are in Spirit and in the world.
We have moved through lots of different energies this year so far. We started 2014 by grounding our visions, being flexible as we walk along, integrating integrity and conviction to our spiritual toolkits and then contemplating it all. The Oracle had us opening our energies to more and more Spirit downloads and then diverging from it in order to move into being more and more authentic. More and more REAL. And then, with all of that behind us or within us, as the case may be, we moved into alignment with our Divine Nature, our Divine Essence and then we integrated all this experience to see and understand that it provided us a new level of wisdom and from there it takes us to a new level of understanding that all of that is what encapsulates to our very own spiritual power.
Now, I want to make sure to be clear here that this spiritual power does not make us “better” or “more evolved” or “more enlightened” than anyone else. We may have been on the path longer than some, we may have more knowledge than some and with the command of our very own power we totally understand, grasp and accept that everyone is on their very own soul path doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing.
The integration of our power can strike our heart at its core, cause us to change, cause inner work that can and will transform who we are if we allow it and remember none of that makes us “special.” It does, however, make us very powerful. The spiritual perspective on that, however, is that power is meant for our very own inner and outer work. It has nothing to do with anyone else. It is only ours to use and our Spirit guides.
So let’s go over a few of the basic characteristics of “spiritual power,” in addition to the ones we have been through this year, let’s look at integrating Faith…
Faith is one of those words that can conjure up old time religion, ancient mysteries or some mysticism. It can also conjure up a lot of old programming and potentially lots of limitations, mostly because “faith” has been associated with religion – not just faith in God, but faith in “our” God, not “your” God. While that is, and has been, important for some, as we integrate it into our understanding that it is a characteristic of our spiritual power, it is time to not only truly experience our own faith, but to expand it – to expand our consciousness of faith! It needs to be spoken of out loud to others…whatever our “faith” is…we need to let it out! Now is the time…it is part of our power…
Courage – There are two definitions of courage: “Physical Courage” – courage in the face of threat, hardship, pain or death and “Moral Courage” – courage to act rightly in the face of unpopular attitudes, opposition, shame, scandal or discouragement. Part of acknowledging our power is having the courage to walk our own path, courage to be a spiritual warrior, courage to face our fears and do what needs to be done, courage to hold at the deepest level of who we really are, that All really is Well.
Surrender – There is power in surrender, a basic characteristic. This Oracle is here to encourage us, yet again, to step into our real true self, stop pretending to be something we are not and be wholly who we are. Make mistakes, be human but surrender our old, broken down, old world personas and adopt a new, real, true, loving persona. Smile along your way, every day. Let the love from deep within you well up and connect at the heart level with others as you move along your path. Surrender to the love you have buried deep within yourself…it, too, is part of your power.
There are so many more, all of which we all know and it is the collective practice of these various perspectives, this deep inner work that must be done to complete the transformation necessary to move us more and more into our true authentic selves…being, knowing, understanding and expressing who we truly are. We are very powerful, we have worked hard for many lifetimes and so acceptance and integration of our power to the strengthening of our Divine connection is what is November is about. Explore it, acknowledge it and allow it to be…do not be afraid of our power.
As we allow ourselves to explore our power and what we have it based upon and thereby allow it to flourish inside of us over the course of this November, we will, yet again, experience a new level of spiritual confidence and consciousness. This will hold us well as we move into the energies of December and close this amazing year of growth and breakthroughs.
As with all signposts, expand your spiritual consciousness and remember, always, that Love and Trust will follow your power. It is time to Feel It! To know it!!! And constantly remind ourselves as we move into our heart center to respond to situations this month: We are extremely powerful beings…
Let your mantra for the month of November be: I AM a powerful being and I use my power to see a universe of possibilities. And So It Is!!!
