Saving the Yazidis

In a statement, Zeid Ra’ad called again for the Baghdad government to join the International Criminal Court, saying the Hague court was set up to prosecute such massive abuses and direct targeting of civilians on the basis of their religious or ethnic group. At least 9,347 civilians had been killed and 17,386 wounded so far through September, well over half of them since the Islamist insurgents began seizing large parts of northern Iraq in early June, the UN said.

GOOD GOD- BAD GOD IT IS US!

It is documented, a phenomena associated only with humankind namely a dark and evil behavior whereby heinous crimes are perpetrated against each other in the name of God. What is this phenomenon that exists in the DNA of humans to destroy each other, and why is it necessary for humans to stamp murder, genocide and sexual abuse of innocent women and children with the blessing of a God? The word God means many things to many people; in this case they are using a name that has nothing to do with the Creator of the Universe. Just as there is no God that condones genocide, legions of angels from the highest realms of heaven where the Creators abide are not coming in the clouds to rescue people who are running for their lives and to stop the carnage caused by this group of terrorists. Sounds harsh I guess to make such a statement however, the good news is those coming to aid these people are already here. It’s us!
