You want to be your best self, but aren’t exactly sure what your best self is supposed to be. Using your natal chart and astrology, you can piece that together and become the person that you’re meant to be. How? One of the most important ways is by using your lunar nodes.
What are the lunar nodes?
The lunar nodes are the points where the orbit of the Moon crosses the ecliptic. They consist of the North Node and the South Node, and are exactly opposite of one another. The South Node represents what you’ve already learned and carry with you into this life. People tend to gravitate to the South Node when they haven’t evolved much yet, especially in their younger years, because it’s familiar, comfortable energy.
The North Node is what you should learn in this life – partly showing your soul potential and who you should be. You want to grow into your North Node and away from the South Node, but not abandoning the South Node knowledge you have; rather taking it with you to help you fully embrace your nodal journey. Since you have yet to learn your North Node lessons, it can be scary at first, and people tend to shy away from them because of the discomfort and unfamiliarity. However, the more you embrace your North Node, the more you become the ultimate version of you.
You need to understand the sign and house placement of your nodes. These two basics are the foundation of your nodal journey. The sign and house of your South Node shows what you already know, while the sign and house of your North Node shows what you need to know. Thoroughly investigate the sign and house.
Tip: For the houses, you can look at the sign that naturally rules the house, like Cancer for the 4th house, Virgo for the 6th house, etc.
