Laura Day: The Practical Intuitive
Some people have objected to the aggressive nature of the title “Boot Camp,” but it is an exhausting, challenging, life-changing experience, and “Boot Camp” fits! After Boot Camp, if they continue to practice and document their accuracy, most students are equipped to do intuitive sessions for others.
OMTIMES: Why is group healing important? You have 7,500 healers on Twitter. What do they do, and how can others become involved?
LAURA DAY: For millennia, human beings have been asking “why” questions instead of “how” questions. This has generated many different, compel-ling beliefs but not always practical solutions to the challenges of this journey we are all on.
I don’t know the “why” of the power of a group, but I have observed in my over thirty years of teaching that when people join forces to create change, miraculous and instantaneous healings occur. “When two or three gather in my name, there I am in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20) — this is a truth repeated in all major spiritual traditions. Somehow, when people join in healing, a circuit connecting us to all the power of the universe is completed and can be directed by the group. Even when I am working as the channel for this experience and laying my hands on others, I myself am healed. My life is healed. On lauradayintu-it@twitter, I give the group a common focus each day so that we can complete that circuit even at a distance. Intuition (and physics) tells us that our view of time and space is limited and faulty. As you read this, you join me and I join you, and, perhaps unaware, we already are working together to heal. That is the Power of The Circle.

Laura has been amazingly generous in offering several free healing Circles in Woodstock, NY. One even took place during a feisty snowstorm, and it didn’t deter her for one moment.
First, she began by imparting some wisdom, with humor, grace and humility. Then the lights were dimmed, everyone found a safe and comfortable space in the room and Laura and her companion healers spread their warmth and healing energy throughout the room as they placed healing hands on each participant!
What a unique and beautiful opportunity. Many hearts and lives were touched.
At the end of the evening, as people slowly moved to the door one could here many murmuring things like, “Wow, that was amazing!” “And I felt my whole body heat up, it felt so good,” and ” I can’t wait for the next one.”

Laura Day has had such a profound impact on my life. I have devoured her books, (and guided meditations) and I can honestly say they have taught me how to navigate life with more grace, ease, and focus. I’ve referred to her books repeatedly throughout the years when I’m feeling blocked or stuck and invariably, I open the book and read the perfect thing for the situation.
