I will just give you one example. I was teaching in the Philippines, in Manila, doing a one day workshop. And the evening before I did a book signing at this big book store in the mall for this book, and there was a guy who came, John Caleb. He said can I interview you? I said yeah. It was a great interview. I said John that was a killer interview. How long have you been doing this? He said you are my first interview. I said how is that possible? He went on to explain that he had owned a restaurant and went bankrupt. He couldn’t find another job. His girlfriend left him because he had no money. He was couch surfing, sleeping on people’s couches. I said John, how much money do you have? He said I got $3.28. It was his total net worth. I gave him a $20 dollar bill and said buy dinner on me. I bought him my book from the bookstore because I didn’t have one of my own to give him. I said read this book. Maybe it will help.

I come back to Manila about two and a half years later because I go to Asia every couple of years and do a tour of five countries. He walks in. He is wearing a blue blazer with a gold coat of arms on the pockets. He is looking like a million bucks. He is wearing gold Doc Marten shoes. They were gold plated or something. It was amazing. He had about nine guys behind him that were all wearing the same polo shirt with the same logo on it. I said are you the guy that interviewed me last year, what is your name? He said John Caleb. I said John, you look different. He said I am. I said tell me what’s happened. He said I am now the number one motivational speaker in the Philippines. I average between 800 and 1,000 people at each of my talks. They call me the money magnet. I have my own radio show and my own TV show. I am writing a book at the moment. I make a million a year. I have got a house downtown and a condo at the beach. I have two cars.
