Simone Milasas: Sure. Well, yeah, I did, that’s true. When I first met Gary Douglas, who’s the Founder of Access Consciousness, about, I think, 14 years or so now, I was $187,000 in debt. Now, I was definitely, Chris, one of those people who wasn’t in the trauma and drama of it. I wasn’t always complaining about money. If you met me, you wouldn’t have known that I was so in debt. I just kept creating debt.
I would be the one that would say, let’s fly to Melbourne for the weekend and go shopping when I lived in Queensland. I would have fun with my life, and I would keep creating my life. It is the one thing I see people do when they’re in debt: they stop creating their life.
Now, I was definitely functioning from a place of unawareness of being so in debt and creating that. And I listened to Gary Douglas and Dr. Dain Heer, who’s the co-creator of Access Consciousness, talk about these tools in a class. The third time I heard them, I was like, hmm–I remember sitting in the audience thinking, all right, the worst thing that can happen here is that if I give this a shot, things might change.
So, I started to implement some of the tools that they spoke about, and my whole money situation started to turn around and change. And of course, I’m always so enthusiastic and eager when I find something that I love, so when I met Gary Douglas and Access Consciousness, I was like, oh, this is exactly what I’ve been looking! I had a business of my own called Good Vibes for You, and I was attempting to do t-shirts and magnets and stickers and things like this to change the way people looked at the world, to change the way they looked at themselves and the planet.
And it was sort of like nothing more than a concept. I had words, inspirational sayings and things like that. When I met Gary, it was like he had the tools and the processes I perceived that could change any area of your life that you thought was not working for you.
