Teresa de Grosbois: Igniting Wildfire
Shawne Duperon: You are known as being the leader, the Chair of the Evolutionary Business Council or the EBC. What exactly is the EBC?
Teresa de Grosbois: The EBC is a gathering of emerging thought leaders from all over the world, people who are dedicated to spreading transformational principles around the planet. We work collectively to assist each other in becoming more influential and make a difference. It is amazing what’s happening in the EBC right now. Members are winning awards, becoming bestsellers, growing their businesses and positively impacting our global consciousness.
Shawne Duperon: You are changing the world. What does it really mean at a grassroots level?
Teresa de Grosbois: In reality the only thing that really ever does create change is people working at a grassroots level. We’re doing practical, reasonable initiatives to create a different way of how we think about the world. A great example is what EBC member Judy van Niekerk is doing with the The Digital Bra. As an incest survivor, Judy went on to become a leader in women’s empowerment. I know OMTimes did a cover story on her powerful journey. Today she is all about empowering women and teaching women to love their bodies through deserving a bra that fits properly. She’s challenging the thinking of a generation of women, to teach our daughters that being beautiful shouldn’t have to hurt.
Shawne Duperon: Influence is your expertise and I’m watching you “give” influence to Judy’s mission.
Teresa de Grosbois: Yes. Becoming influential is as easy as breathing. You know how we often say fish don’t know what water is. A lot of people don’t understand what influence is. The way to become influential is to give influence to other people. Just like you want to get respect, you give respect. You want to get influence, you give influence. It is really that easy. The primary reason I started the EBC was to show people how to create influence to cause global change, and that’s simply my passion and why I am alive.
