Veronica Lee: A Mystic with a Mission
But then there’s more, Liane, and you know this: As we grow, our so-called mission grows as well. It’s all fine and dandy to be a closet mystic, but what I realized is that in order to really shift our reality we needed to take it to the next level. See, using and teaching metaphysical skills is one thing, but from where I’m working, it wasn’t enough. I’m more or less an ancient soul and I’ve been working in really high realms for a long time. That’s part of why I was born into a metaphysical household, right?
Because I work so closely with the collective consciousness, what I saw was that it was time for us to work on this level – as a collective – to make the next big shift. It’s time to really step out and own who we are, not just so we can be happy, but to expand consciousness for all. So my current work is to guide people into these higher states by simply claiming all these incredible aspects of themselves and bring them to the forefront of their lives; to incorporate their full selves into these incarnations and stop playing small.
OMTIMES: Is everyone really naturally psychic, or is there some extra-sensorial skill one must learn?
VERONICA LEE: Everyone is psychic. Totally. The only question is how deep have they buried it? If we think of it as a fundamental skill, like walking, talking, singing, or playing sports, of course there are varying degrees of grace and talent involved. So, unless we are completely disabled in some way, there’s always a way to learn to be better at something, even if it has our own clumsy signature on it.
OMTIMES: What advice would you give to someone that wanted to develop their Spiritual gifts and become a teacher like yourself?
VERONICA LEE: I think the main thing is to find someone who they can practice with and keep it fun to start. I don’t care if it’s by watching a YouTube video, or taking a class, or just buying a deck of Divination cards and reading the instructions as you lay out the spread, just do it! It doesn’t have to be scary or serious and you don’t even have to be right. It’s funny, Liane, so many people think that in order to be psychic you have to be right about things. This is so not the case! It’s really about learning to trust yourself to say what you need to say and let that be good enough.
