Veronica Lee: A Mystic with a Mission
Now with mentoring, we agree to a longer-term plan of working together, which for my minimum is three hours over three consecutive months. Because my client is now going to come to me repeatedly, the last thing I want is for them to ask me questions each time. I really don’t want anyone believing that I know things that they don’t! The whole point of mentoring, as I offer it, is to guide people to align with their truth, power and joy.
OMTIMES: Intuitive healing and Spiritual counseling are very special practices. In your own practice, do you use any tools, such as Tarot cards, Oracle cards, crystals etc.? If so, why?
VERONICA LEE: I grew up with all these tools, and used them in very fun ways. In fact, in fourth grade, I made a necklace that was my first pendulum. Of course, my questions – always yes and no – were things like, “Does he like me?”
In my current work, I don’t use any of them for readings or mentoring (though I do have a whole basket of tools in my office for when my mom and I teach intuitive skills classes together). When I decided to pursue my mysticism professionally about ten years ago, I learned how to access the Akashic Records and this is usually the way I do my readings. Like the other dogmatic rules and laws that I’ve adapted for myself over the years, I’ve completely owned how I work in the Records. I don’t say the $300 prayer I was offered in the workshop I took all those years ago. I don’t believe there is just one way to commune with the Divine, so I’ve personalized my relationship with this energy field and it has deepened my joy and experience. It’s been far more powerful, for sure. That said, I actually don’t need to work in the Records to gain anything. It’s just another tool, albeit a highly evolved and Love-centered one.
OMTIMES: In your own words, what is the main reason someone should consult a spiritual advisor and what would be the definite difference between a spiritual coach and a Guru?
