Lynn Zambrano: HSP and Living Consciously

OMTIMES: Considering your personal life experiences, when did you find out you were an empath?

Lynn Zambrano: I began to realize I was taking on the pain of others in my early 20’s. I remember sitting in an office and the salesman walked in, sat down and began to give me a sales pitch. I felt a tightness in my chest, breathing was uncomfortable. It was profound and sudden. I asked (for the first time), hey are you having any chest pain by chance? Oh the look he gave me… then said I had a heart attack and a bypass surgery, this is my first day back to work.

OMTIMES: How do you conciliate the fact of being a psychic and an HSP -empath? Does it make it harder to be this sensitive, or is this a plus for your work?

Lynn Zambrano: Psychic ability is being sensitive to nonphysical forces, which is in line with being an empath, which is the expression of clairsentience. Is it hard to feel the intense emotions of others? Yes, it can be. It becomes very important to stay open and flow with the energy and emotions that come forward and not become resistant to those emotions or try to push it away. Resistance creates a slowing of the energetic flow and leads to “stuck” energy. Thus, my client’s pain could get stuck in my field. Is it a plus, absolutely! I know what my client is feeling and that makes it easier to offer guidance, and it also serves as an excellent reminder… we are one.

OMTIMES: How difficult is it for a recently-awakened person to accept the fact they are extra sensitive, that we manifest externally what we create internally?

Lynn Zambrano: It would depend on the individual, however at the very least be challenging. This recognition and acceptance are critical if you are ready to surrender pain and suffering. It is often suffering that acts as a catalyst for awakening, especially if you are highly sensitive. It is a call to an inner journey, one that will redefine who you really are and the relationships you have with the external world. There is no salve out there, no distraction and no answer that will heal you. It is an inside job folk. You must do your inner work.
