Tim Braun: Overcoming Grief
Tim Braun: It is not easy to describe how spirit makes itself present to me, it can change depending on where I am or whom I am with or what is going on. It is very much dependent on where the Spirit is standing on the other side and how the energy comes through either as a voice division or energetic vibration or both. I sense how to read it and I take my cues from how the spirit looks to me. It’s a strong sensation and more often than not it comes through visually. I see it and I feel it – I know there is a spirit there in the room when others do not.
OMTIMES: What do you see or what does it feel like to be contacted?
Tim Braun: Most people imagine that being contacted by a departed soul or spirit will be scary but it is not a frightening feeling at all. In fact, it is quite the opposite, I get a sense of a loving presence around me and I usually feel instantly connected to that spirit as the facilitator of the communication between the client and myself. I’m honored to act as a channel for the other side and see it as a duty to keep myself open and at peace so that I can connect with spirit at the right vibration.
OMTIMES: You discuss in your book that you started seeing spirits as a child. What was your first experience?
Tim Braun: I cannot remember exactly how old I was when I first started seeing spirits, but I was very young. I remember I had a neighborhood friend named Joey and we used to play together all the time. My most abiding memory is from one Christmas holiday period when Joey and I were playing outside in the backyard. I remember that my mother was inside and making Christmas stockings. While we were outside together in the back yard I started to see some kind of energy around Joey and then I became aware of it around myself. Joey did not see anything. I remember distinctly knowing deep inside that this was something out of the ordinary and that only I could see it.
