Braxton Cosby is a dreamer with a vision of continuously evolving and maximizing the untapped potential of the human spirit.
Braxton received his Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. He has made it his personal mission to change lifestyles – one bad habit at a time. And now he intends in getting you in shape. “I feel that God has given me a calling to help people,” says Cosby.
He is a certified Sports Nutritionist and Personal Trainer, currently co-hosting the weekly radio show Ask the Fat Doctors with Tee Foxx and Jamie Dukes (analyst for the NFL Network) on Atlanta’s own 1380 WAOK.
Braxton Cosby was nominated by JEZEBEL Magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful Atlantans for not only his looks, but for his dedication to service in the community and beyond. He has been featured as the keynote speaker at the 2012 Atlanta CARES STEMFest for Children and Young Adults event. He also was a presenter for Mercer College School of Medicine & the Louisiana Medical Society’s Focus on Exercise and Fitness and has partnered with Emory University as a clinical instructor and worked with geriatrics.
Braxton’s fascination of science grew into an obsession of Sci-fi and one day this self-proclaimed romantic pursued a “calling” to create a new genre of writing; Sci-Fance– mixing science fiction and romance. His first novel, Protostar: The Star-Crossed Saga has won the Readers Favorite Book of the Year Award for Romance: Fantasy-Sci-Fi category and the Literary Classics International Book of the Year Award for Sci-fi Young Adult published under Cosby Media Productions/Tate Publishing.
He has since gone on to pen a new Christian, Young Adult, adventure series called The Sect: The Windgate of the School of Ministry Series, also published by Cosby Media Productions/Tate Publishing. It’s a powerful tale that follows the lives of three young men recruited by a special group to defend the weak and hunt down evil. Braxton has partnered with his cousin Leon Cosby III to pioneer a new entertainment production house called COSBYMEDIAPRODUCTIONS that focuses on new intellectual properties in the areas of print, radio, music, television and film. New content is already in the works with networking and partnership opportunities available for future endeavors. Recently, CMP launched UHETV, a multimedia IPTV and station based television network that offers licensed and non-licensed content services for online and offline platforms seen online in 22 Countries around the world with national distribution in 22 U.S. markets over DISH Network. Braxton lives in Atlanta, GA.
