On December 14, 2012, Scarlett Lewis’ son Jesse was killed in the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School, but rather than giving into hate, she chose Love. She has founded the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation with the mission to create a curriculum to teach children about the power each of us has to change our thoughts and choose a life without fear and hate.
