Chaker Khazaal is a Canadian-Palestinian writer and speaker who grew up in a refugee camp in Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War. He is the author of the Confessions of a War Child trilogy, he travels to war zones conducting interviews for his books and articles for the Huffington Post, and speaks internationally about the plight of refugees today and the world crisis. Hi honors include the Global Leader of Tomorrow Award, Esquire Magazine’s Man of the Year, 100 Most Influential Arabs Under 40, and Companionate of Merit from the Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem.
